It was over 60 years ago when people started buying cars instead of relying on public transportation and Harold Giller and Herbie Chandler founded New Angle Glass Company. They realized there would be a need to replace automobile windshields and windows. Along with this they started the concept of free mobile service, vehicle pickup and delivery.

In 1946 they began on North Common Street in Lynn, moved to Summer Street and later moved to their current location of the Lynnway. The original name was to be New England Glass Company but somewhere along the line it was misinterpreted and New Angle Glass Company stayed.
